Old Chemistry Building

Entering the Old Chemistry Building is a step into Duke’s past. Built in 1932, the Gothic structure houses German Studies and Statistical Science. Long ago, it housed an industrial lab that pioneered tobacco testing. More history — scientific symbols are carved above the main doorway.
