Duke Hosts NCAA Men’s Golf Championship

The Duke University Golf Club quickly received national attention after it opened to the public in 1957. The course, designed by famed golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., was selected to be the site of the NCAA Golf Championship on June 23, 1962. The Blue Devils finished 15 shots back of Houston and five behind Oklahoma State.
