Baldwin Auditorium

Alice Mary Baldwin was the first Dean of the Women’s College at Duke University (formerly Trinity College) from 1923 – 1947. Baldwin remains a beloved figure at Duke University and is credited with advancing the education of young women. One of the most prominent buildings on Duke’s East Campus, the auditorium anchoring the campus, is named in her honor.
