Centennial Celebration Kickoff Event Details


Dress for the Centennial Celebration Kickoff event and the Winter Chill Reception is business casual or Duke spirit wear. 

Event Entry Policy for Centennial Celebration Kickoff event and the Winter Chill Reception

  • All bags and purses must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” or 
  • Small clutches/wallets that fit in the palm of the hand – no larger than 8” x 5” x 1.” 
  • Bags not meeting these specifications are not permitted. Bag check is located in Scott Family Pavilion

Rain Plan 

Due to anticipated inclement weather, the Winter Chill Reception has been moved indoors to the Wilson Recreation Center/Card Gym.


For those who are driving to the Centennial Celebration Kickoff event and/or the Winter Chill Reception, parking will be available in Science Drive Garage. Shuttle service will be provided for guests parking in the Science Drive Garage. The shuttle will deliver guests to Whitford Circle right outside of Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Accessible parking will be available on the 2nd floor of the Science Drive Garage, in addition to accessible shuttles that will drop-off & pick-up at the Whitford Circle from 3pm – 8:30pm.
